Check list for a music magazine

During lesson time, we discussed what made a successful music magazine, highlighting key features of what a front cover, contents and double page spread needs to contain in order to be successful. I came up with a check list from reading and reviewing hard copy's of music magazines such as Kerrang, Mojo and NME. 

Here is a criteria I have come up with

To ensure that I have a deeper understanding of the codes and conventions of music magazines, I am going to analyse 5 front covers, 5 contents pages and 5 double page spreads and discuss why specific features have been used and say weather is is going to help me when making my magazine.
