Contents page analysis 4

The page numbers and tile are all down the left side of the page, with each article having a bold title in capitals, with a brief overview of what the story's contain in non capitals. There is a date and issue number at the top of the page, in which shows the audience when they bought the magazine and how many copy's of the magazine have been issued.
There is a title at the top saying 'contents' which isn't a big as some of the title on contents pages I have analysed. I believe that this side of a title is appropriate, as I dont believe that it is the most important feature of a magazine.
The image is one of the most striking convention of this particular magazine, as it shows a low angle photograph of a band where by the male artists are all making eye contact with the camera and are pulling serious facial expressions. the image engages with and gives the reader a insight as to what the article is going to be about, as well as the introductory quote used on the left side of the photograph.

There is a every month section at the bottom of this contents page, in which features articles that appeal every month for example Q top 50 gigs. This gives the magazine its own identity and  uniqueness.

Overall, this contents page looks very professional and I believe that the amount of content is excellent and looks very clean. The amount of image shown I believe to be not too many, so therefor would probably use more image in my contents page.
